New collections: Edge and Antico

Saint-Jérôme, October 23, 2008 – Riobel, a Québec manufacturer of faucets and shower systems, is launching two new faucets: Edge and Antico.

The Edge collection will very simply add a touch of refinement to your decor. The collection includes an 8-inch centre faucet, a shower system, a bath faucet, and matching accessories. The items are available with cross or lever handles, as well as a chrome or brushed nickel PVD finish that guards against corrosion, scratches and tarnish.

As to the Antico faucet, it is a single hole fixture that sports a chrome, brushed nickel PVD or night brushed PVD finish, and is available in short or long format. Inspired in its design by the water pumps of days gone by, it will provide a touch of warmth to a decor reminiscent of the good old days.

Please note that, according to the Québec edition of the National Plumbing Code, which came into force on July 1, 2008, the sale of products that have not received approval is prohibited since October 2, 2008.

Proactive since its foundation in 1995, Riobel has always made it a point of honour to secure the certification of its faucets with respect to standards NSF 61 (for drinking water) and CSA B125 (for plumbing fittings). The firm Services d’essais Intertek AN ltée has been commissioned to conduct all the tests. None of Riobel’s faucets are introduced on the market until they have received, or are in the process of receiving, the required certification.

The Edge and Antico faucets are no exceptions to the rule and have received the certifications required, thus assuring the consumer that the product is reliable and poses no risk to health.
